Assignment 1: Short Essay: What Excites you about Computing?
Due: Monday August 30th by 9:30am
You can only submit once, so double check everything before you submit. Make sure you don't submit your essay in the Comment Section of the page (see below).
Description
Write a short, 2-3 paragraph, essay describing what interests or excites you about computer science. Include a link to a project, news article, or person that relates to one of your interests. Your essay should include: 1) the description of what interests you or excites you about computer science, 2) your link along with a short description of why it relates to your interests, 3) a reflection on why you enrolled in this class and what you hope to get out of it.
What to Hand in:
Your essay. You should write your essay directly in Learn. Click on the Assignment posting to open the assignment submission page. Then, in the Assignment Submission section click on the "Write Submission" button (see below). This will open up a text box that you can write your essay in.
